Recent Systems Maintenance Updates
and Your Bath Savings Accounts

Bath Savings recently completed maintenance updates to our internal banking systems, and all systems are now up and running once again. As a result of the updates, customers will see some changes and prompts when attempting to login into online accounts for the first time since the maintenance.

Please review the information below for answers to frequently asked questions regarding recent maintenance updates and your accounts.

I’m unable to log into my online banking account. What should I do?
Directly following our system maintenance, all online banking users will be prompted to review and accept our terms and conditions, and to select three new security challenge questions. Until these steps are completed, you will not be able to fully log into your online banking account. If you have completed these steps and continue to receive an error message, please contact us for additional assistance.

If you’ve made multiple attempts to enter your password, it’s possible that your account is temporarily disabled. In this instance, we ask that you please call Bath Savings at 1-800-447-4559, and we’ll be happy to reset your password.

Why can’t I log into my mobile app?
Directly following our system maintenance, all online banking users will be prompted to review and accept our terms and conditions, and to select three new security challenge questions. These steps must be completed from a computer, tablet, or phone browser before you log back into the mobile app.

If you’ve completed the steps outlined above and you’re still unable to log into your app, please give us a call for assistance at 1-800-447-4559.

I can’t get to the Bath Savings website using my bookmark, what should I do?
Recent system maintenance included a change to our internet banking URL. To continue using a bookmark for Bath Savings online banking, please remove any BSI bookmarks you currently have saved. Access our website by typing www.bathsavings.bank into your browser, and create a new bookmark.

Why am I being prompted to accept terms and conditions?
Bath Savings is excited to be introducing new services to our online banking users, and through our terms and conditions we’re able to share important information. When you choose to accept these disclosures we know that you’ve seen details of how these new services might impact you.

Do I have to set up new security questions?
Following our October system maintenance, you will be prompted to select and answer three new security challenge questions. This step must be completed before you gain access to your online banking profile. You may reuse questions and answers that you’ve chosen in the past, or select new questions. If you’re logging on from a personal device, such as your own iPad, you may choose to “Register This Computer”. By doing so, you will not be prompted with a challenge question when you log in from this device in the future.

My accounting software stopped updating automatically. How do I fix it?
You may need to reestablish the connection between your accounting software and your online banking accounts. To do so, please log into your accounting software and locate the automatic update settings (this wording may vary by software). Here, you’ll ensure your accounting service is matched with the correct Bath Savings option, as shown below:

Personal Online Banking Users:

  • Bath Savings Institution RO: Use this option with Quickbooks WebConnect and Quicken Direct/Web Connect.
  • Bath Savings Institution RO QBDC: Use this option with Quickbooks Direct Connect

Business Online Banking Users:

  • Bath Savings Institution BO: Use this option with Quickbooks WebConnect, and Quicken Direct/Web Connect.
  • Bath Savings Institution RO QBDC: Use this option with Quickbooks Direct Connect

Has my username or password changed?
No, you will access your online banking account with the same username and password as you’ve always used. You will have three attempts to enter the correct password before your account is temporarily disabled. As a reminder, usernames and passwords are case-sensitive. For assistance, please contact us at 1-800-447-4559.

Will my online banking account look different?
No, your online banking screens will have the same layout as they did prior to this maintenance. You may view account balances, transaction history, make transfers, and access additional services just as you always have.
