After 25 years at the helm of Operations for Bath Savings Trust Company, Cheryl Verrill has announced she will retire at the end of October. Cheryl has spent most of her career in the trust field. Beginning in 1977, she worked at Casco Bank for many years, and then brought her talents to BSTC in 1995 — just a few years after our inception.

During her tenure here, Cheryl oversaw the transformation of our small — but growing — business into a trust and investment firm with well over one billion dollars in assets. She led a successful conversion to new trust systems on two separate occasions, and worked on a third conversion during her final months of service to BSTC.

Cheryl has always ensured that the team at Bath Trust had the best tools available to deliver exceptional service to our customers. She is widely respected in the industry, both in Maine and beyond.

Cheryl is a loyal colleague and a dedicated professional. Thank you for your years of service Cheryl, and congratulations!
