President Thomas Whelan has been with Bath Savings Trust Company since September 2005, after over a decade of management in the bank’s retail division. A member of Bath Savings Institution’s senior management team, Tom was instrumental to the superior growth of the bank’s branch offices. As the Vice President of Branch Administration, he led the retail branches in delivering the style of banking that sets us apart.
A graduate of Colby College in Waterville, Tom is also a graduate of the New England School of Banking at Williams College and an honors graduate from the nationally renowned Canon Financial Institute. With an unwavering commitment to customer service, Tom provides his clients with informed and personal investment management.
In his role at Bath Savings Trust Company Tom continues his strong commitment to personal service. Tom says, “I am struck by the quality of the staff at BSTC and the manner in which everyone works together to deliver the best possible service to our clients. Everyone, and I mean everyone, has the client at the forefront of their minds every day.”
Ken Bray has joined the Trust Company as Vice President, Trust Officer. A highly skilled professional, he brings more than 25 years of trust, investment and tax consulting experience to his post at the Trust Company, where he assists clients with their unique trust and investment needs.
He is a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor and holds a degree in Finance from Quinnipiac University.
Ken’s experience, knowledge and personal commitment to customer service make him a strong addition to our team of investment professionals — providing the exceptional service our clients have come to expect.

Vice President Sean Martin has worked directly with individual clients at Bath Savings Trust Company since 2001. Sean graduated with honors from Bryant University in Smithfield, Rhode Island, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
Sean has completed the requirements to attain the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) designation. The CFA® charter is a qualification for finance and investment professionals, in the fields of investment management and financial analysis of stocks, bonds and their derivative assets. The program focuses on portfolio management and financial analysis, and provides a generalist knowledge of other areas of finance.
A strong financial strategist, Sean plays a key role as lead liaison between the Trust Company and its investment advisory firm, David Wendell Associates. He manages important aspects of our investment process including both equities and fixed income vehicles. He is responsible for placing all trades for the Trust Company, ensuring that they are executed in an accurate, timely, and cost effective manner.

Vice President Catherine Robidoux came to Bath Savings Trust Company with more than 15 years of trust and investment management experience. Her expertise in financial services and estate planning at Androscoggin Bank, Bank of America and Independence Trust Company has given her a strong background that benefits her clients at Bath Savings Trust Company.
A native of Bath, Catherine is a graduate of the New England School of Banking at Williams College and the National Institute of Paralegal Studies in New York. In 2011 she earned her degree from the Graduate Trust Program. She is also a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor.
At Bath Savings Trust Company she continues her strong commitment to personal service. She says “There is nothing we like better than sitting down with a client and getting to know them and their goals, then developing a plan that’s sound, imaginative, and designed for the long term. Leo Soucy has more than 28 years in the Investment Management and Trust business. Leo has an extensive background in portfolio management for both individuals and institutional clients. His experience includes formulating investment strategy as well as research and analysis.
Leo is a native of Maine and graduated from the University of Maine at Orono with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management with a concentration in Finance. He also holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from Southern New Hampshire University.
Leo believes that the client is best served by bringing a holistic approach to the wealth management process. The process begins by examining needs, measuring appetite for risk; and then integrating the investment, tax and estate plan into a strategy that will help meet both near and long term goals.
“In our role as a fiduciary we must always act in the best interest of the client. Other investment advisors make this claim but often do not uphold it due to the drive to meet sales goals. At Bath Savings Trust Company our goals are truly aligned with the clients and no such conflict exists. In the end, when we do what is best for our clients we are doing what is best for the Trust Company as well”.
Vice President Eve Wing brings 30 years of banking experience to Bath Savings Trust Company. During the past decade she has focused her attention on trust and investment services. In addition to managing trust and investment relationships, she has assisted in financial reporting, accounting and other banking functions.
Eve has completed the CFP Professional Educational Program, graduated from the New England School of Banking Trust Program at Williams College and earned her designation as a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA).
As a working mother, Eve not only worked full time as a management team leader in a bank accounting position and as a member of its Asset/Liability Management Team, but she was also responsible for analyzing budgets and quarterly earnings. During this time, her evenings were spent completing a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, which she earned in 1990 from the University of Maine.
When asked about her role at Bath Savings Trust Company, Eve answers, “My hope is to develop trusting and long lasting client relationships with a focus on quality products and services, open and honest communication, and a genuine desire to serve in the client’s best interest.”
